JCCS continues to serve Energy Assistance clients through an application process each year. JCCS strives to provide awareness of education and change to promote sustainability of families. The program assists individuals and families deemed eligible for assistance. Applications can be mailed or dropped off at each center. Arrangements for appointments are available. Completion of the application for EAP includes ensuring that individuals are eligible for the program. Those that have immediate need of energy assistance resulting from job loss, personal issues, or inability to work, are potential candidates for the program. Energy Education provides awareness of heating and cooling changes and cost-effective measures to lower utility costs. Call Duane at 219-866-8071 option 2 for further information.
